those are really awesome pictures huda. i'm a scenery person as well, so those pictures you took, especially the sunset from your house, that's brilliant. oh and those pics of the mosques, that's fantastic. I can safely assume either you're a devout Muslim, or you admire their architecture, or you're both :)
Well... I am all the three. I love nature, Islamic Architecture, and of course Islam. :)
heh. that picture of the sunset from your house, you live on high ground? or do you live in a place where there's no obstruction of any kind? (trees,buildings etc)
I'm living on the 19th floor of an apartment, and the main window is facing the west. There are trees and buildings, but it didn't block my view of the sun...
No wonder. I live on the 12th floor. I can see the sun from my room but there are so many buildings around, it creates a "corridor", where I can see the sun set at the end of the "corridor", but its rays aren't projected out like yours. know what I mean?

Even when I took the pic from my home, the roofs of some buildings were visible. So I focused on the end of the sun as much as I could, so that the roofs can't be seen.
